I hope you're all enjoying this lovely weather. The sun has been shining at Hylands Estate today and I've being enjoying time here with the family - sampling some of the lovely cakes and drinks from The Deli (onsite cafe in The Stables) and walking through the beautiful grounds.

Next Sunday will be the Open Estate Day, and all the studios will be open. I've been busy making some more of the popular 'On The Go' seat mats - not yet available online!! As well as the Tea Bag Pouches and Peg Bags.

I love the daily drive and walk into my studio at Hylands Estate, on the outskirts of Chelmsford, Essex. The studio I work from is upstairs in an old stable yard with lots of other independent businesses, a bookshop, gift shop and cafe. The estate itself is beautiful to walk around all year round, with woodland, lakes, flower gardens and the beautiful historical Hylands House.

The 3rd Sunday of each month is Open Estate Sunday, where you are free to view inside the house, meet the makers in their studios and sample local produce at the farmers market.

I'll be in the studio on the 15th sewing some new pieces for Spring '23' feel free to say "hello" on your way through.
