Sewing Classes

Suitable for those with a knowledge of sewing.

Choose between a variety of shoulder bag designs and fabrics.

All fabrics and hardware will be included and prints discussed with you prior to the group.

Please bring a small sewing kit with you (scissors, needles, pins,etc), as well as a packed lunch or enjoy a pre-booked lunch at The Deli.

This groups runs from 10am-3.30pm

Take a couple of hours out of this busy season to relax and sew your own gift bags from a selection of faux leathers and laminated cottons.

Learn how to use laminated cottons and faux leathers to create pretty gift bags. 

After making your first one why not try adding mini handles, loops to hang your pretty bags from, belt hooks and more to these cute bags.

All fabrics and patterns included in this workshop.

All workshops take place from my cosy studio at Hylands Estate in Chelmsford.

Light refreshments provided, all workshops include parking and a 20% discount at The Deli at Hylands Estate.

Whether you're a beginner, want to brush up on your skills, or make a completely new type of garment, this is the workshop for you.

Classes are kept small. I will discuss with you prior to the workshop the garment you would like to sew, suitable patterns and fabrics, etc.

Please note that fabrics and patterns are not included in this workshop price due to the individuality of the workshop.

Not sure how to use all the functions on your sewing machine?

Look no further -  during this workshop we will cover setting up your machine, learning which feet/needles suit which task, the different funtions on your machine and much more.

Enjoy learning in a small group within a relaxed atmosphere. Learn with other like minded people and of course drinks and homemade cake.

This group will last 2hrs with a max of 4 people.
